The wishbone suspension system, a complex system in racing renowned for its exceptional handling and stability, has inspired us to create the ACF-01.

Integrating double-wishbones to suspend the movement inside a timepiece has been a technical challenge, demanding precise engineering when adapted to the confined space of a case less than 45 mm.

One of the challenges lies in miniaturizing the wishbones, ensuring that they are compact enough to fit within the case while retaining the functionality and shock absorption properties that make the system effective.

Le Cercle des Horloger’s technical team had to consider the proportions and placement of the double wishbones to avoid disrupting the aesthetic balance of the watch.

After CAD simulations and prototype testing, we achieved a solution that enhances shock resistance and respects the sleek aesthetic of the timepiece.
